Join the dedicated team at SOUTS, a privately owned organization supporting NDIS participants in the Western Downs. As a Yard Maintenance / Lawn Mower Support Worker, you’ll help clients maintain their homes by providing essential yard and exterior upkeep that promotes safety, comfort, and dignity.
About the Role
A Yard Maintenance and Lawn Mower Support Worker helps NDIS clients take care of their outdoor spaces. This support allows clients to live safely and independently in their homes by keeping their yards clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
In this role, we can help clients with:
Lawn mowing
Weeding
Edging
Watering
Spraying
Exterior maintenance
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in gardening, lawn mowing, or yard maintenance (preferred)
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces neat and tidy
Friendly, respectful, and professional when interacting with clients
Able to follow safety procedures and client instructions
Willing to travel locally and work independently or as part of a team
Holds or willing to obtain required checks (NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, etc.)
